    The Staff Selection Commission invites application for the recruitment for Grade ‘C’ (Group ‘B’, NonGazetted) and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ (Group ‘C’) Posts. Recruitment is done by Stenographer Grade ‘C’ & ‘D’ Examination, 2018. The application process, age limit, Qualification, eligibility and other details please read below.

     The Staff Selection Commission will hold an open competitive Computer Based Examination for recruitment of Stenographer Grade ‘C’ (Group ‘B’, NonGazetted) and Stenographer Grade ‘D’ (Group ‘C’) for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India.

    Age Limit:

    (a) Stenographer Grade ‘C’: 18 to 30 years as on 01-01-2019 (i.e. candidates born on or after 02-01-1989 and born before or on 01-01-2001)
    (b) Stenographer Grade ‘D’: 18-27 years as on 01-01-2019 (i.e. candidates born on or after 02-01-1992 and born before or on 01-01-2001).

    Age relax: SC/ ST- 5 years and OBC 3 Years

    Educational Qualifications (As on 01.01.2019):

    The candidates must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.

    How to apply:

    Applications are required to be submitted in online mode only at the official website of SSC Headquarters i.e. https://ssc.nic.in. Last date for submission of online applications is 19-11-2018 (5.00 PM).

    Application Fee

    Fee payable: Rs 100/- (Rs one hundred only). Fee can be paid through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard, Maestro, RuPay Credit or Debit card. Online fee can be paid by the candidates up to 21-11-2018 (5.00 PM). However, candidates who wish to make the payment through challan of SBI, may make the payment at designated branches of SBI within the working hours of bank up to 26- 11-2018 provided the challan has been generated by them before 21-11-2018 (5.00 PM).

  • SSC Recruitment 2018, Apply for 54,953 Constable Posts, Last Date Sept 17

    The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an open examination for recruitment to the posts of Constable (General Duty) in Border Security Force (BSF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Indo Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB), National Investigation Agency (NIA) and Secretariat Security Force (SSF) and Rifleman (General Duty) in Assam Rifles as per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) and as per the Memorandum of Understanding signed between Ministry of Home Affairs and the Staff Selection Commission. The recruitment process will consist of Computer Based Examination (CBE), Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Physical Standard Test (PST) and Medical Examination.

    Educational Qualifications: Matriculation or 10th class pass From any Recognized Board in India.

    Age Limit
    18-23 years as on 01.08.2018. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.08.1995 and later than 01.08.2000. The upper age limit is relaxable for SC, ST, OBC, Ex-Servicemen and other categories of persons in accordance with the Governments orders on the subject.

    APPLICATION FEE AND MODE OF PAYMENT
    Fee payable: Rs. 100/- (Rupees One Hundred only). Fee can be paid through SBI Challan/ SBI Net Banking or by using Visa, Mastercard or Maestro Credit or Debit card. Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe
    and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation are exempted from payment of fee.

    * Computer Based Examination (CBE) will be conducted by the Commission in
    English & Hindi only.
    * Admit Card for any stage of examination will not be sent by Post. Facility for download of Admit Cards will be provided at the websites of Regional/ Sub- Regional Offices of the Commission as well as on the website of CRPF i.e. http://www.crpf.gov.in. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the websites of the Commission i.e. http:// www.ssc.nic.in, concerned Regional/ Sub-Regional Office and the Nodal CAPF i.e. CRPF for the updates on examination process and download of Admit Cards for each stage of examination.

  • 54,953 Constable Posts, Date Extended-Apply from July 24

    Staff Selection Commission.  Important Notice for Candidates of Constable (GD) Examination, 2018
    Candidates of Constable (GD) in CAPFs, NIA, SSF and Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles Examination, 2018 may please note that the facility for submission of online applications for the said examination, which was scheduled to be made available to the candidates, on the new website of the Commission from 21-07-2018, could not be done, due to a major technical problem. Experts are working overtime to address the said problem and it is proposed to provide the requisite facility at the earliest.
    Due to above circumstances, the facility for submission of online applications for the said examination has been rescheduled, and would now be made available on the website of the Commission by 24-07-2018.

    Accordingly, the last date for submission of the applications has been extended till 24-08-2018 (5 PM). Payment through Challan of SBI can be made at the designated branches of SBI within the Banking hours up to 28-08-2018, provided the challan has been generated before the closing date and time for receipt of applications i.e. 24-08-2018 (5 PM).

    However, other terms and conditions will remain the same. In the mean time, the instructions for “One-Time Registration” and Online submission of applications for the said examination are being uploaded on the website of the Commission. Candidates may keep the requisite information and documents ready which are to be uploaded during „OneTime Registration‟. The inconvenience caused to candidates is regretted.
