Educational Qualifications for Karnataka Police Constable Posts
PUC or equivalent courses for Civil Police Constable posts, SSLC or equivalent qualifications for Armed Police Constable.
Age Limit: Minimum age limit for applicants for civil constable is 19 Years and maximum is 25 years. Candidates aged 18 to 25 can apply for the posts of Armed Police Constable. Scheduled Tribe and OBC candidates have been given two years and tribal candidates have been given a relaxation of five years.
Physical Eligibility: Male candidates applying must be at least 168 cm. The height should be 86 cm. Must have chest circumference. Female candidates should be at least 157 cm tall and weight 45 kg
Application Fee: Rs 250 for general, 2A, 2B, 3A and 3B candidates and Rs 100 application fee for SC/ST and Category I. Fees can be paid at HDFC Bank Branches or Post Office only.
