Qualifications (Essential & Desirable) and Experience.
PGT (Computer Science)-Contractual.
Essential. BE / B.Tech (Computer Science / Computer Engineering / Information / Electronics / Electronics & Communications or Equivalent (OR) MCA / M.Sc. / Computer Science / Information Technology / Masters in IT or Equivalent (OR) M.Sc. (Mathematics and B.Sc. (Computer Science) or BCA or equivalent (OR) Post Graduate degree in Mathematics or Physics or Statistics and 3 years Diploma in Computer Engineering / IT from an institution recognised by the AICTE / University (OR) Post Graduate degree in Mathematics or Physics or Statistics and at least Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Application from an institution recognised by the AICTE/University or equivalent (OR) ‘B’ level from DOEACC (AND) Graduate with Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) or its equivalent (OR) Three years experience of teaching intermediate or higher classes.
Note: Tenure of employment for PGT (Comp.Sc) is 89 days Only from the date of Appintmnet.
TGT (English)-Contractual.
Graduate in / with the subject, with a recognised Degree / Diploma in Education (OR) BA.B.Ed with English of the Regional College of Education and Qualification Certificate of CTET/TET conducted by Central Govt./State Govt. to be submitted.
Craft Instructor-Contractual.
Matriculation or equivalent (ii) Two years trade certificate from recognised Industrial Training Centre (iii) Ability to teach through English Medium.
Band / Music Teacher -Contractual
Potential Band Master / Band Major / Drum Major Course at the AEC Training College and Centre, Panchmari OR Equivalent Naval / Air Force Courses. OR Graduate in / with Music OR Higher Secondary with a degree or diploma in music from any recognized institution
Desirable. (i) Minimum 3 years Teaching experience as Band Master in any reputed institution. (ii) Having proficiency in Games / Sports and other extra co-curricular activities / hobbies. (iii) Additional qualifications i.e. residential institution life style would be given preference.
Ward Boys-Contractual.
Essential. Should have passed Intermediate or equivalent and should be able to converse fluently in English.
Desirable.(i) BA/B.Sc./B.Com Degree (ii) Attainments in Sports / Art / Music (iii) Minimum 3 years of experience of handling of age group 10-18
years with affection in any residential school preferred (iv) Knowledge of Computers & Typing (v) Maintenance of Housekeeping Records (vi) Working experience at Sainik School / Residential Public Schools.
Pay & Perks.
The details are given below (Rent free accommodation subject to availability. No HRA will be paid in lieu of Rent free accommodation).
(a) PGT (Computer Science) Consolidated Pay Rs.30,000/- PM
(b) TGT (English) Consolidated Pay Rs.28,000/- PM
(c) Band/Music Master Consolidated Pay Rs.25,000/- PM
(d) Craft Instructor Consolidated Pay Rs.25,000/- PM
(e) Ward Boy Consolidated Pay Rs.18,000/- PM
Tenure of Employment.
One year from the date of appointment or till end of Academic session 2018-19, whichever is earlier. During contractual appointment, if School vacation falls during the period, the Contractual Employee will be given break without pay for that vacation period.

Kodagu, Karnataka, PIN – 571 232” along with Demand Draft Rs.200/- Non-refundable drawn in favour of ‘The Principal Sainik School Kodagu’ payable at Kushalnagar Branch (Karnataka State). Applications without Demand Draft will not be entertained.
Shortlisted candidates will be called for selection tests (Written Test, Interview & demonstration).
