    2.  Industrial Training Institute certificate in respective trade from a recognized institution; or
    3. Three years experience in respective trade from a recognised firm.

    PAY SCALE
    Head Constable (MM) : Level -4 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 25500 – 81100 (as per 7th CPC).
    Constable (MM): Level -3 in the Pay Matrix Rs. 21700 – 69100 (as per 7th CPC).
    Age Limit

    How to Apply?
    Eligible and interested candidates should apply only through website www.recruitment.itbpolice.nic.in. Candidates are advised to  fill  the application form after reading the instructions carefully. The application must be submitted ONLINE only. No application will be accepted offline. Candidature of the candidate who submitted application offline will be  rejected summarily.Written test for both posts will be held on same day/time. Hence, candidates are advised to apply for only one post. If more than one application are filled by the candidates all applications are liable to be summarily rejected.
    APPLICATION FEE
    Candidates belonging to General(UR)/ OBC category applying for recruitment to the above posts should pay Rs. 100/- (Rupees one hundred only) as application fees. Application received with any other mode of fee payment will be summarily rejected. Candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-servicemen are exempted from paying fee.

    SELECTION PROCESS
    The candidates whose applications are found in order, shall be issued admit cards (online) to appear in the recruitment tests.     Recruitment Centre in Karnataka- New Mangalore(Karnataka and Goa Candidates) 

    Educational Qualification: 10+2 passed with 50% marks aggregate in total and minimum 50% aggregate in Maths and Physics from an education board recognized by Central/State Government. (5 % relaxation in above minimum cut off will be given for SC/ST candidates and outstanding sports person of National level who have obtained 1st, 2nd or 3rd position in any field sports events at the Open National Championship/ Interstate National Championship. This relaxation will also be applicable to the wards of Coast Guard uniform personnel deceased while in service).

    Selection Procedure. The ‘Online’ Applications will be sorted out Centre wise. The conduct of test is planned during the month of Feb – Mar 2018.     Training: The basic training will commence in August 2018 at INS Chilka followed by sea training and professional training in the allotted trade. Branch/trade will be allocated as per the requirement of service and performance during basic training.   • Newsmaker: Gujarat CM Vijay Rupani Full Profile

    News(Source- Times of India): Vijay Rupani will continue as the chief minister of Gujarat. Nitin Patel will retain the post of deputy chief minister. Rupani was unanimously selected as the BJP legislature party leader at a meeting of all the newly-elected BJP MLAs convened by state unit president Jitu Vaghani on Friday. The announcement was made by senior BJP leader and union minister Arun Jaitley.

    Vijay Ramniklal Rupani (born 2 August 1956). He  is an Indian politician from the Bharatiya Janata Party. He is the incumbent Chief Minister of Gujarat, a western state in India, since 7 August 2016. A member of the Gujarat Legislative Assembly representing Rajkot West.

    Early Life and Education
    Born in 1956 in Rangoon, Burma (now Yangon, Myanmar) to Mayaben and Ramniklal Rupani in a Jain Bania family, he was the seventh and youngest son of the couple. His family moved to Rajkot in 1960 due to political instability in Burma. He studied Bachelor of Arts from Dharmendrasinhji Arts College and LLB from Saurashtra University.

    • Vijay Rupani is a partner in a trading firm Rasiklal & Sons, founded by his father. He had worked as a stock broker
    • Vijay Rupani started his career as student activist associated with Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP).
    • He joined Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and subsequently joined Jan Sangh in 1971 has been associated with Bharatiya Janta Party since its establishment.
    • He was imprisoned for 11 months at the jails in Bhuj and Bhavnagar during the Emergency in 1976.
    • He was a Pracharak of RSS from 1978 to 1981. 
    •  He was elected as a corporator of Rajkot Municipal Corporation (RMC) in 1987 and became the chairman of drainage committee. The next year became the chairman of standing committee of RMC from 1988 to 1996.  He was again elected to RMC in 1995. 
    • He served as the mayor of Rajkot from 1996 to 1997.
    • He became BJP’s Gujarat unit general secretary in 1998 and served as the chairman of manifesto committee during chief minister-ship of Keshubhai Patel. 
    • He was appointed as a chairman of Gujarat Tourism in 2006. 
    • He was a member of Rajya Sabha from 2006 to 2012.
    • He served as BJP’s Gujarat unit general secretary four times and chairman of the Gujarat Municipal Finance Board in 2013. during chief minister-ship of Narendra Modi.
    • On 19 February 2016, Rupani became the state BJP president, replacing R. C. Faldu.
    • In August 2014, when Vajubhai Vala, the incumbent speaker of Gujarat Legislative Assembly, resigned as the MLA from Rajkot West as he was appointed as the governor of Karnataka.
    • Vijay Rupani was nominated by the BJP to contest his vacant seat. He won the bypoll on 19 October 2014 by a huge margin.
    • He was inducted as minister in the first cabinet expansion by Chief Minister Anandiben Patel in November 2014 and held the ministry of transport, water supply, labor and employment.
    • He was the BJP state president from February 2016 to August 2016.
    • He succeeded Anandiben Patel and sworn in as the Chief Minister of Gujarat on 7 August 2016. He was unanimously elected as the leader of legislature party on 22 December 2017 and is continued as the Chief Minister of Gujarat with Nitin Patel as the Deputy Chief Minister.
