EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION
Scientific Officer in Chemical Section: Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Chemistry / pharmacology / Bio-Chemistry / Forensic Science / Equivalent qualification in Chemical science with at least 55% aggregate marks.
Scientific Officer in Physical Section: Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Physics / Forensic Science / Equivalent qualification in Physical science with at least 55% aggregate marks.
Scientific Officer in Biology Section: Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Botany / Zoology / Bio-Chemistry / Microbiology / Life Sciences / Forensic Science or Equivalent qualification in Bio-science with at least 55% aggregate marks.
Scientific Officer in Questioned Documents Section : Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Physics or Equivalent qualification in Physical Science / Chemistry or equivalent qualification in Chemical Science / Forensic Science / or equivalent / subjects with at least 55% aggregate marks
Scientific Officer in Narcotic Section: Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Chemistry / Pharmacology / Bio-Chemistry / Forensic Science / Equivalent qualification in Chemical science with at least 55% aggregate marks.
Scientific Officer in D N A Section: Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Botany / Zoology / Bio-Chemistry / Microbiology / Life Sciences / Forensic Science or Equivalent qualification in Bio-science with at least 55% aggregate marks.
Scientific Officer in Fire Arms Section: Must be a holder of Master’s Degree in Physics / Forensic Science / Equivalent qualification in Physical science with at least 55% aggregate marks.
Scientific Officer in Forensic Psychology Section: Must be a holder of M.Sc., Degree in Psychology or its equivalent qualification / subjects with specialization in Forensic Psychology / Clinical Psychology with at least 55% aggregate marks.
