Method of Recruitment:
Selection of candidates will be made in accordance with the Government orders LAW 76 LAC 20l3 dated 27/03/20l3 and LAW 249 LAC 20l7 dated 07.l2.20l7.
Minimum Qualification:
A candidate must have passed in First Class by the recognized University in Bachelor of Engineering/ Bachelor of Technology in Electronics and Communications/ Computer Science/ Telecommunication/Instrumentation Technology/ Information Technology OR First Class in M.C.A. OR M.Sc (Computer Science/Electronics). If the grades are awarded by the University, the proper conversion table of CGPA, as approved by the concerned university shall be furnished at the time of document verification.
Scale of Pay: Rs.28l00- 700- 28800- 800- 33600- 900-39000-l050-45300-l200-50l00 plus allowances.
Probation: The applicant if appointed shall be initially on probation for a period of two years or for extended period, if necessary.
Age limit:
(l) As on the last date of submission of application, the age limit is, minimum of 2l years for all categories and the maximum age limit is as under:-
(a)40 years in the case of a person belonging to Scheduled Caste or Scheduled Tribe or Category-I of other Backward Classes.
(b)38 years in the case of a person belonging to Category II-A or II-B or III-A or III–B of other Backward Classes; and
(c)35 years for others.
Selection Criteria: A written test shall be conducted for 70 marks followed by viva-voce for 30 marks. The written test shall be conducted by way of objective type question paper with multiple choices of l½ hours (ninety minutes). Only such candidate who secure a minimum of 35 Marks in the written test will be eligible for viva-voce. From among the candidates who are eligible for viva-voce as far as may be such number of candidates as is equal to five times, the number of vacancies notified, having regard to the number of vacancies in each reserved category, selected in the order of merit, shall be called for viva-voce.
Work Place: Selected Candidates may be posted to any of the District Head Quarters in the State of Karnataka and are liable to be transferred to any other District Head Quarters in public interest, as per policy decided by the High Court of Karnataka.
